Brown fused alumina FeSi
Brown fused alumina FeSi is a by-product of alumina production. This angular, reusable blasting medium has a mineral and a metallic component. Because of its high iron content, brown fused alumina FeSi is less suitable for use with stainless steel and aluminium. It is hard, brittle and relatively heavy. Brown fused alumina FeSi is the lowest-priced, reusable, alumina-based blasting medium.
